EU rollout of Google's Bard paused over privacy concerns

Deputy Commissioner Graham Doyle said the regulator "had not had any detailed briefing nor sight of a data protection impact assessment" from Google ahead of Bard's anticipated rollout. A Google spokesperson said they have connected with regulators on Bard's privacy implications and the importance of releasing the tool "responsibly."
